LAMDA | Young Persons Agency | Presentation Coaching
Meet our director Frances Simon
Hi, my name is Frances Simon and I am a Speech and drama coach and founder of the personal management agency: Nurture Talent. I am a professional actress who received a full scholarship to train at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy. I qualified with the Acting Academy Diploma with Distinction. Following my training, I attended The Arts Educational School and received a BA honours in Acting where I obtained a 2:1 with City University. I’ve worked as an Actress in T.V, Radio, and for a 10 month National Theatre Tour. The things I love to do include coaching students for the internationally recognised LAMDA exams, running my established talent agency Nurture Talent, writing screen-plays, parenting my daughter, not to mention keeping the romance ticking with my husband!
I love to equip people with skills and techniques to enable them to flourish when professional opportunities present themselves!! After all ‘Success happens when preparation meets opportunity’ (Henry Hartman)
As well as training people professionally, I also love to develop people personally. To help them grow their resilience, discipline, perseverance, independence and ability to think creatively. I love to encourage people to flourish in a safe, positive environment. And I love to encourage everyone to work to the best of their ability and to strive for excellence.
I love to help people develop their skills and grow in confidence, whether just for fun or to go towards launching a career in the performing arts. For people who love acting I can take you step by step through the entire process – from fining tuning your performance skills to landing professional work. And if you are in the workplace I can help you excel in your communicative and presentational skills.
